A little bit about what I know and remember about a city I've only passed through. The first time I remember hearing Denizli was quite earlier in my life in Turkey. I was on a bus going from Izmir to Izmir, and that was a stop along the way. Interesting enough, early on I befriended a young friend whose name I learned meant 'the sea', so I understood, 'with the sea'. I found it awkward and looked it up to find that there is no sea around. :) It is an industrial city that is very close to Pamukkale. Since I have never been to Pamukkale, Denizli was another city of Turkey I looked forward to going to.
Another reason for my interest in Denizli is Sije Ayça! Someone I befriended through Wing Chun on Instagram who has incredible energy. Though our styles of Wing Chun are different, I love watching her videos and shares as besides Wing Chun she is also giving Zumba lessons. Incredible energy, and someone whose posts make me smile, and make me proud. May there be more Turkish women like her. :)
Check out the photo below... This rooster I find quite appealing and perhaps under less than pandemic in Turkey circumstances, I'd take a selfie. This seminar will be online, but I am preparing more after learning so much from the last webinar for Kars.
